Professional Credentials and Accomplishments

-Transition Council of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario: Board member Nov 2009 to present

-Naturopathic Doctor- Board Certified Ontario 1988

- Up until recently 30% of our clients are Americans with patients coming from New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Maine, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Florida, California, Texas, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, and Arkansas. Canadian patients have come from BC, NWT, NFLD, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and all over Ontario. International patients have come from Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Australia, Germany, and Japan.

-Fighting ongoing legal battle with the BDDTN (Ontario) since 1999 for approval of ozone, chelation and other IV Therapies. Legal battle resolved with partial victory in 2008.

-Fought with the College of Nurses for the rights of Naturopathic Doctors to give orders to Nurses (charges brought against my nurses by the BDDTN) unfortunately was unsuccessful due to infighting by my nursing staff. A nurse was trained as a Naturopathic Nurse (Centennial College and CCNM). One nurse decided to testify against the other nurse in exchange for a more lenient sentence.

-The clinic NaturoMedic.com was and is the biggest contributor from the Naturopathic community to CCNM’s (Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine) capital campaign.

-The clinic supports eight bursaries at the two Canadian Colleges of Naturopathic Medicine: BINM (Vancouver) and CCNM (Toronto).

-The first Naturopathic Doctor in North America to offer an Emergency Procedures Course for clinical settings. (copyright for course, chart, and manual filed with Canadian Intellectual Property Office)

-Successfully lobbied the CAW for the profession to obtain coverage for Naturopathic Medicine for the Big Three (GM, Ford and Chrysler) employees (7 years in the making).
